Debate: Which Europe after the UK referendum

Which Europe after the UK referendum

The British voters will decide in a referendum on 23 June whether the United Kingdom should leave or stay in the European Union. No matter the outcome, Europe will have to work with a country that has to find its new role either inside or outside the European Union. The European reaction to the British referendum should be informed by a clear vision of what kind of Europe we want for the future: While the UK is yet the most crucial vote, the EU’s political and economic model is currently also challenged by other elections and referenda across Europe. Together with our distinguished guests, we would like to discuss in an open dialogue what Europe should look like after the British referendum.
