The 2017 Financial Stability Conference took place on 18 October in Berlin. The aim of the event is to exchange views on topics such as regulation, financial stability and financial sector reforms in the EU. This year’s conference has particularly focused on misalignments in bank regulation and what options exist for achieving a consistent financial framework within the EU. The conference is organized and coordinated by the Financial Risk and Stability Network. Scientific co-organizers are Bruegel, DIW Berlin, ESMT Berlin and the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin.
