The Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin welcomes you to the live broadcast of a public and interactive debate between Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission and Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of the French Republic. After the discussion between the statesmen, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions. The team of the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin will collect and post your questions on Twitter – Juncker and Valls will respond.
This debate takes place on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Institut Jacques Delors – Notre Europe in Paris, at a time of political turmoil: The European Union and its member states are facing a multi-faceted crisis whose outcome will determine the future of the European project. What is the EU’s political future? After the British referendum, what kind of Europe do we want? What will be its identity in a globalised world? And how can we assure the collective security of Europeans?
We are looking forward to welcoming you.
